What to Watch This Weekend | John Leguizamo's Latin History for Morons

This is something that I would love to include in my comedy career, long-term, but isn’t really a stand-up. This is closer to a one-man play that’s filled with jokes. What I love about this special is that its long-form infotainment that fits in with the likes of The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight, and The Patriot Act.

In Latin History for Morons, John Leguizamo takes a deep dive into Latin history that spans thousands of years across the America’s. Spawned from his son’s homework to write a paper on a Latin hero, John looks through his culture’s history for heroes for his son and for himself. 

This is the perfect example of “How did we not learn  this in school?!” I highly recommend this for my fellow nerds.
